The PCC has been contributing to chess in Allegheny County for at least 78 years. During that time, the club has had locations within the Downtown YMCA and the Wightman School Community Building. However, recent world events have led us to seek a new home.
In April, the Board of Directors voted to accept a new location at 5869 Forbes Avenue in Squirrel Hill. This is a street-level location, close to convenient public transportation, and within walking distance of several nearby restaurants. There is also plenty of parking – although not quite as free as our previous location.
Please join us for an Open House on July 21st, 6PM-7PM. We will be offering door prizes and casual chess games. Club members and non-members are all welcome. Please RSVP on our event page.
