August Lecture w/ Bryan Smith

Join us in-person at the club on August 18 where we will welcome GM Bryan Smith to our lecture series. Bryan took 1st place in the 2008 National Chess Congress, 2009 National Chess Congress, 2013 Ohio Chess Congress, 2017 National Chess Congress, 2010 Philadelphia International, 2013 Eastern Open, 2017 Pittsburgh Open, 2018 Pittsburgh Open, 2019 Pittsburgh Open, and 2021 Golden Triangle Open.

Bryan will be going over his games and taking audience questions. He'll talk about the overlap between calculation and intuition in attacking play.

This event will be free to club members but a $10 donation is suggested. Admission for non-members will be $15. All proceeds go toward the Pittsburgh Chess Club 2022 Lecture Fund
